Who Is Mindy?


Mindy is a native of Hong Kong. She and her family emigrated to the United States in the early 1970’s.They settled in the heart of New York’s Chinatown, where she grew up surrounded by an array of different Asian cuisines. Ten years ago, Mindy and her three children moved to the Bay Area, where she was the proprietor of a Chinese restaurant in Oakland.

Mindy is a Whole Food Consultant who works with clients of different backgrounds and ethnicities. She understands that the naturally recurring seasonal rhythms of the earth affect our bodies, and that we should adjust our eating habits according to the seasonal harvest. There is a correlation between a balanced diet and balance in our mental, emotional and physical bodies. Mindy grew up with the knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking, emphasizing the concept of a balanced diet, which includes whole foods, herbs and spices for their nutritional and medicinal properties. She expanded her expertise by using herbs and spices of other cultures to combine with her Asian flair.

In recent years, Mindy has been studying with a Ghedee Zoe from the tradition of Ghedee energy workers of West Africa. She has learned how to create energetic changes to the physical, mental and emotional bodies to bring about a balance and flow that returns the body to optimal function.

Mindy wants to give back to the community by empowering people with the knowledge in balancing their lives through healthy diet. With her knowledge and experience, she will help you change and create a healthy, balanced life.
